Young Women Internship Project aims to motivate Turkey’s southeastern university students in entrepreneurship, and to prepare them for work life.

Together with the United Nations Development Program, KAGIDER in summer 2007 managed to provide 17 successful female university students an internship program in the association member’s companies in the month of July.

17 young women who came from Adıyaman, Batman, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, and Şırnak performed an internship in KAGIDER’s member’s companies such as Acarlar Şirketler Grubu, Altın Yıldız, Eti Şirketler Grubu, Filmacass, Güvensan Temizlik, Hey Tekstil, Kurtsan Holding, Ladin Fuarcılık, Mali Müşavirlik, Piramit Danışmanlık, Prestij Sigorta, Vip Turizm, and Yön Tekstil, after a board meeting the 3rd of July.

The intern student who were staying in the dorms of Yeditepe, were toured in the Historical Peninsula of Istanbul on the 8th of July with the help of Savana Tourism. During the years 2004, 2006, and 2007, and up until now, 52 candidates partook in this program.
