The goal of the Ocean Travellers Project was to ease the job-hunting process, and to provide the equipment necessary to start in the work field for young women graduates and/or senior students. By these means mentees were able to observe and to learn from the work field experiences of their mentors, and use these observations for their own personal agendas. The mentors who partook in this project are now seen as role models to the other corporation employees by opening new opportunities to these young women with safe, and trusted communication networks that led them to find their own way.
