The Women in Technology seminars co-sponsored by the Turkey Vodafone Foundation, KAGIDER and TBV, took place in Istanbul on May 9-10^th.

In the seminar on May 9^th , women were trained to develop effective communication and time management skills, sales and marketing techniques, information and communication technologies, social media and internet safety. They also learned how to use tablets.

The seminar on May 10^th brought together women who wanted to start their own businesses using modern technology. They were trained on topics such as basic entrepreneurship, establishing business plans, sales and marketing, e-trade, information and communication technologies, internet safety and social media, and ultimately received certificates for their participation.
