Women deputies got together with KAGIDER’s call for social consensus

Female parliamentary deputies from the ruling and the opposition parties have answered a call by the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER), to gather to discuss solution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey.

“At the second meeting, deputies reached a consensus to continue these meetings for developing dialogue with each other” says President of KAGIDER Gülseren Onanç.  According to Onanç, the deputies agreed that “there is an urgent need to sustain a peaceful atmosphere in Turkey, and in order to achieve this, the violence should stopped, the guns must be silenced and a political solution should be found” to the Kurdish issue.

Deputies Ayşe Türkmenoğlu, Bihlun Tamaylıgil, Fatma Kotan, Fatma Şahin, Fatma Nur Serter, Gönül Bekin Şahkulubey, Güldal Akşit, Gülsün Bilgehan, Necla Arat, Nesrin Baytok, Nursuna Memecan, Özlem Piltanoğlu Türköne, Öznur Çalık, Pervin Buldan, Sebahat Tuncel, Sevahir Bayındır and President Gülseren Onanç, Vice Presidents Ayla Sevand, Dilek Bil, Board Member Gülden Türktan, Secretary General Yeşim Müftüler Seviğ and Deputy Secretary General Nuray Özbay attended to meetings.
