KAGIDER (Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of Turkey) President Ms Emine Erdem, KAGİDER member responsible for EU Affairs Ms Itir Aykut, Secretary General Ms Yeşim Seviğ and EU Representative Ms Aslıhan Tekin attended and actively participated to the Trade for Her Conference. The delegation also met with Permanent Representative of the EU Ambassador Mr Mehmet Kemal Bozay and TÜSİAD EU Representative Ms Dilek Aydın on 30 September. The delegation exchanged views on the EU membership process, trade and women and gender equality with Trade and DG NEAR European Commission officers. KAGİDER Delegation visited European Parliament MEPs İsmail Ertug (S&D) and Sirpa Pietikainen (EPP) and discussed women entrepreneurship in the EU ad Turkey.
