The 68th FCEM World Congress was hosted by Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey

The 68th FCEM World Congress was hosted by Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER) between 3-5 November 2021 in Istanbul, at the Swissotel the Bosphorus.

FCEM, being a non-profit association uniting women business owners all around the World, includes over 120 different countries and 5 million members from the five continents. Accordingly, FCEM leads ‘FCEM World Congress’ to be held at a different country since 1950. This year, the 68th of the FCEM World Congress was held with the main theme “Reunite with Resilience; Learn, Share and Enjoy”, for the first time in Istanbul.

During the Congress that was hosted by KAGIDER, which is the only member of the FCEM from Turkey; women entrepreneurs, government officials, and people from the business world came together physically after a challenging period of the pandemic.

Approximately 200 women entrepreneurs from 30 countries, representing a capital of nearly 700 billion Euro, have participated in the 68th FCEM World Congress where prominent speakers and guests appeared on the stage.

Within the comprehensive program of the FCEM 68th World Congress, EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso, W20 Italy President Linda Laura Sabatini, UN Women Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia Alia El-Yassir, Turkish Republic Minister of Family And Social Services H.E. Derya Yanık, Chair of Sabancı Holding Güler Sabancı, Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem İmamoğlu, Founder&Director of Shakti Leadership Nilima Bhat, CEO The Futures Agency & Futurist-Humanist Gerd Leonhard and many other high level speakers have made an appearance with impactful speeches.

The host organization KAGIDER has proudly received “One of the Best Congress Organization” award at the FCEM Awards that was held within the Congress.
