In collaboration with KAGİDER and Sanofi, the "Future Women Leaders Training Program" continues to support young women who aim to make a difference in their careers, communities, and environment, preparing them for the business world.
The Number of Future Women Leaders Reaches 1,850 with New Term Trainings
This year, an additional 100 young women from across Turkey joined the two-day training program, becoming part of the Future Women Leaders (FWL) alumni network. With this year’s participants, the total number of young women who have joined the program reached 1,850.
Since 2010, the Future Women Leaders Program has aimed to strengthen young women's positions in society and the workplace, expand their professional networks, facilitate job search processes, and contribute to women’s employment. The new term trainings were held in Istanbul on September 5-6, 2024. Each year, successful university students from across Turkey participate in these trainings.
The training sessions, which began on Thursday, September 5, featured various sessions and speeches from inspiring women role models on topics like technology, project management, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The second day included additional training, interview simulations, group work, and a panel of program alumni. The program concluded with a certificate ceremony for participants.
KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu:
"The Future Women Leaders Program enables young women to uncover their potential and progress confidently in their career journeys. Through this program, which we conduct in partnership with Sanofi, we are delighted to reach more young women every year, helping them develop leadership qualities and establish themselves as strong individuals in society.
For 14 years, we have been committed to increasing women's presence and influence in the business world through this program. Reaching 1,850 graduates and contributing to the development of new-generation leaders nationwide is a great source of pride for us. Our efforts to promote gender equality, enhance women’s active participation in economic and social life, and nurture future female leaders pave the way for long-lasting change.
The achievements of our graduates in their careers and their contributions to society demonstrate the significance of this initiative. Each graduate serves as an inspiration for future women leaders, and their success stories provide encouraging examples for young women to follow this path.”
Pınar Kaya, Corporate Communications Director of Sanofi Turkey Levant:
"According to the World Economic Forum report, it will take five generations to achieve gender equality globally. Although the journey is long, our goal at Sanofi is crystal clear: to take concrete steps to create equal opportunities for women in accessing healthcare, education, economic opportunities, and participating in politics and the workforce.
In this context, we take pride in contributing to the development of future female leaders across Turkey through the Future Women Leaders project, realized in partnership with KAGİDER. The fact that 92% of our graduates continue their careers successfully is an additional source of pride for us."
