Social Entrepreneurship Conference at TÜSEV

TÜSEV collaborated with the British Council to launch the Social Entrepreneurship Project, which aims to unite people from different spheres of social and entrepreneurial work, and to encourage and promote regular exchanges of information among stakeholders.   

KAGIDER Project Coordinator Doğa Tamer attended the fourth meeting in the series, which took place on October 26th. Mikado Consulting’s General Manager, Serra Titiz, and Endeavor Turkey’s Secretary General, Didem Altop, both spoke at the meeting.

 

Serra Titiz discussed Mikado Consulting’s work as social enterprise. Topics included:

-Projects aiming to make private sector companies more responsible in terms of resource usage,

-Supporting NGOs and company foundations

 -"A Clearer Future" project, which involves the work of social innovators

 

Secretary General of Endeavor Turkey, Didem Altop, emphasized the differences between entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs. Altop sees postive developments in the relationship between the private sector and NGOs.
