President of KAGIDER, Sanem Oktar was at Israel with TIM’s Organization

The Turkish business world departed to Israel through the Turkish Exporters Assembly’s (TIM) organization. The committee, which is the biggest business person committee until today from Turkey to Israel worked for development of trading relations for two days. The committee includes many important business persons such as President of TIM Mehmet Büyükekşi, President of Kibar Holding Ali Kibar, President of Ağaoğlu Group Ali Ağaoğlu, President of Limak Holding Nihat Özdemir, President of Akfen Holding Hamdi Akın,  President of Kale Group Zeynep Bodur Okyay, President of LC Waikiki Vahap Küçük, CEO of Koton Yılmaz Yılmaz, CEO of Bank Pozitif Hasan Akçakayalıoğlu, President of Çalık Holding Ahmet Çalık, Ali Sabancı from Esas Holding, President of CNR Holding Ceyda Erem, President of Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (ITHIB) İsmail Gülle, Ayhan Güner from Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association (IMMIB). KAGIDER’s President Sanem Oktar is one of the members of the committee too.

TIM’s President Büyükekşi shared the information that Turkey’s export level to Israel reached 3 billion dollars with a %10 growth rate. Also, focusing on the rising trend, he shared his desire to make Turkey’s export to Israel 5 billion dollars.

KAGIDER’s President Sanem Oktar mentioned that the aim of TIM’s visit to Israel is to strengthen the trading relations between these two countries. She also said: “Israel is a reach country in terms of the presence of entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs. There are two reason for why we are here a KAGIDER. One of them is to increase the mutual trade of our members and also to benefit from investment chances. The other reason is to connect with women entrepreneurs especially within the technological sphere.

Before the bilateral meetings, a working breakfast was held. At the breakfast, there were positive negotiations to increase commercial relations which emphasized the creation of new job alternatives.

Predominantly, the committee includes food, steel, automotive, replacement part, chemical substances and products, textile, and garments sectors.
