The Co-Opinion Working Group examined one of the major problems facing young people from the Middle East and North Africa: youth unemployment. The working group organizes thematic workshops, panels, and research programs by examining the issue deeply in the area which has the most highest youth unemployment rate in the region. During the workshop, the focus was on ethnic and denominational discrimination in employment in Turkey. Meltem Karaarslan, Projects Manager at KAGIDER, attended the working group meeting about discrimination on employment. She submitted information about the related projects at KAGIDER and also shared her own experience on the topic.
