The W20 Summit held in Brazil saw participation from W20 Turkey Delegation Chair, KAGİDER Honorary Board Member, and President from 2011–2015, Gülden Türktan, alongside W20 Turkey Delegation Co-Chair and KAGİDER Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ.

Representing Turkey at the summit, which is chaired this year by KAGİDER, the delegation to Rio de Janeiro also included KADEM representatives Nursem Keskin Aksay and Nurbanu Küçük, as well as TİKAD representative Nazlı Ceylan Balduk Kurtul.

The discussions at the W20 Brazil Summit focused on five thematic pillars:

• Care Economy
• Combating Gender-Based Violence
• Climate Justice
• Women Entrepreneurs: Access to Capital, Financing, and Markets
• Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

The W20 Communiqué, prepared and approved by W20 delegates, was presented to Brazil's Minister for Women Cida Gonçalves, Minister for Racial Equality Anielle Franco, and Brazil's G20 Sous-Sherpa Ambassador Felipe Hees.
