Bilisim Zirvesi organized a panel discussing "Preparation for Digital Economy and Turkey's Economic Vision" on November 7th-8th, 2017 at the Istanbul Congress Center.  During the panel, the President of KAGIDER Sanem Oktar revealed the reality of women in entrepreneurship as well as the employment of women in Turkey. 

Executive Board Chairman of TTGV and a Board Member of Vestel Ventures, Cengiz Ultav as a mediator; Country Manager of Google Cloud Alp Onder Guler, IGA-Istanbul Grand Airport CIO Ersin Inankul, Turk Telekom Chief Technology Advisor Prof. Mustafa Ergen and President of KAGIDER Sanem Oktar joined as panelists to this panel. 

During this organization the topics discussed included: the importance of technological transformation and adaptation, steps that could be taken in the field of education and the necessary changes in the educational and social infrastructures to facilitate the use of technology. 

The President of KAGIDER Sanem Oktar emphasized that there are 105 thousand women entrepreneurs in Turkey which make up only 8% of the overall number of entrepreneurs.
