Within the context of G20 term presidency, W20 was held in Buenos Aires. KAGİDER Vice President Emine Erdem, Honorary Board Member and W20 Turkey Term President Gülden Türkan and General Secretary Yeşim Seviğ attended to the Summit.

Following the W20 Summit in 2016 in China and in 2017 in Germany, 2018 W20 Summit was held in Buenos Aires in October 1-3, 2018. W20 was founded in 2015 under the G20 term presidency of Turkey and KAGİDER was given the Presidency and Secreteriat. Firt communique of W20 was prepared in the leadership of KAGİDER, with cooperation of KADEM and TİKAD together with the delegates of the participant nations.

In the Communique released in 2018, in which KAGİDER actively consult through written and verbal means, there were 4 main topics as Participation to the Workforce, Digital Participation, Financial Participation and Women in Rural Areas. In addition, KAGİDER also shared suggestions and opinions which were gathered from women who are working at NGOs and academicians in Turkey in the meeting in Argentina.

In the close-door round table meeting within the summit, the Comminuque was finalized together with the opinions of the delegates. W20 Argentina Communique Policy Recommendation document was presented to President of Argentina, Maurizo Marci.
