The Kick off meeting of the “Girls in Kars Go Ahead” Project took pleace in Kars on December 27th with all the project partners; KAMER, Kafkas University and Sabancı University, Youth Association for HABITAT, Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation and Milliyet Newspaper.
The aim of the project is stated as to increase girls’ -these girls including those who live in dormitories which were made through the “Baba Beni Okula Gonder” project- motivation about taking part in the business world and helping their career skills.
At the press conference Nilgün Yorgancılar and Hande Sabuncuoğlu from Milliyet Newspaper, Ali Osman Engin from Kafkas University, KAGİDER vice president Ayla Sevand, Nilüfer Yılmaz from KAMER, Ayşe Yüksel from Sabancı University, Eylem Karakaya from Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation and Bora Caldu from Youth Association for Habitat delivered speeches on aims and expected outcomes.
