George Washington University Executive MBA Group Visit

On the 28th of May, thirty members of the George Washington University’s executive MBA group paid a visit to KAGIDER.

Senior managers from organizations such as the Washington Post and the U.S State Department involved in business development projects attended the meeting.

The group learned about the status of women in Turkey, and about women in the Turkish business and entrepreneurial worlds. 

Following a presentation on the activities of KAGIDER and the position of women in Turkey, the group asked detailed questions about the obstacles facing women in terms of economic independence, access to credit and financing as entrepreneurs, the importance of women leaders, and KAGIDER’s success over the past ten years.

The George Washington group was hosted by the vice president of KAGIDER Şila Gök, International Relations Working Group members Tuğba Jabban and Selcan Yılmaz, and Assistant of the Secretary General Nuray Özbay.
