France’s Ankara Ambassador was KAGIDER’s guest along with a team of senior diplomats. The group which also included Istanbul Consul General Herve Margo received information on KAGIDER’s projects. The French diplomats had questions regarding the status of women in Turkey, referencing the tragic instances of violence against women. Ambassador Bili mentioned the limitations placed on press liberty in Turkey, also stating that though improvements have been made that there still remains important issues to be addressed.

The French team received information on KAGIDER’s projects which targeted EU dialogue and France’s projects which occurred in previous years. The French team promised that they would support all of KAGIDER’s projects related to France.
