KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu and Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ, attending the EU–Turkey Joint Consultative Committee meetings in Brussels, visited H.E. Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the EU. The 41st Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee meeting was held, where KAGİDER, as a member of the civil society delegation, participated in discussions on Customs Union modernization, visa issues, threats and opportunities for SMEs in Turkey and the EU, and civil society and social dialogue.

On the same day, KAGİDER Board Member and Treasurer Senur Akın Biçer served as a jury member representing KAGİDER at the “Value-Added Ideas Marathon” held as part of the “Pioneers of Entrepreneurship” project.

The results of the Turkey finals of the She Loves Tech competition—held in over 70 countries across 6 continents—were announced. Representing KAGİDER on the jury, Board Member Bade Özkan helped evaluate the projects. WEROVER came in first place, followed by CELLESTETI and BIOLIVE. WEROVER will represent Turkey at the Global Finals in Singapore.

The Vichy Communications Launch was held with the participation of KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu and L’Oréal Turkey Dermatological Beauty General Manager and Country Ethics Representative Sinem Saraçer Turanlı.

The event introduced the joint project by Vichy and KAGİDER to be launched in Hatay, a region affected by the earthquake. It was announced that more than 100 women in need would receive dermocosmetics training.

President Bezircioğlu expressed her gratitude for the collaboration:

“Our dream at KAGİDER is to see equal representation of women and men in all areas of life and to increase women’s participation in the workforce. We will continue working to make this dream a reality.”

Inspirational stories were also shared by Müjde Uzman, Şahika Ercümen, and Nur Bilen Yavuzer during the launch.

President Esra Bezircioğlu appeared live on Bloomberg HT’s “60 Minutes” program, sharing insights on the status of women in Turkey and globally.

On the same day, KAGİDER Board Member Kıvılcım Pınar Kocabıyık represented KAGİDER as a speaker at the Gender Equality Panel during the “Volunteerism Carnival” at Yıldız Technical University.

Together with Garanti BBVA, KAGİDER hosted the Republic's 100th Anniversary Women Entrepreneurs Summit, focusing on key themes to shape the next decade of economic development and social welfare.

The event featured speeches by Garanti BBVA CEO Recep Baştuğ and KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu. Guest speaker Ümit Boyner (Boyner Group) spoke on “Women Entrepreneurs as a Driving Force of Social Development.”

In the panel titled “What’s Next?”, moderated by Akan Abdula (FutureBright), speakers included Prof. Dr. Levent Kurnaz (climate and sustainability), Tülin Akın (smart agriculture), and Dr. Çağla Gül Şenkardeş (emerging technologies).

In the “Women Entrepreneurs Shaping the Future” panel, Yekta Kopan held an inspiring conversation with Insider CEO and Co-Founder Hande Çilingir. The summit concluded with BigChefs Co-Founder Gamze Cizreli’s motivational speech “The Future is You”.

As part of the Altın Pusula Public Relations Awards, the “TÜHİD-KAGİDER 1-on-1 Gender Equality Award” was given for the sixth time. This year’s winner was Turkcell, with their project “Women Writing the Future – Climate Idea Marathon.”

KAGİDER visited members in Adana and Hatay. In Hatay, the delegation toured the shared workspace established by a consortium of Habitat, KAGİDER, GİRVAK, Endeavour, and Han Spaces on land provided by the Metropolitan Municipality.

The KAGİDER Production Workshop, funded by proceeds from a KAGİDER theater performance in June, was officially handed over at the Hatay Kuzeytepe Model Homes Living Village. Members met with local residents to discuss collaborative projects.

During this special week marking the 100th anniversary of the Republic, KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu led a delegation to Anıtkabir to honor Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with gratitude and respect.

On the same day, as part of its Ankara visit, the KAGİDER delegation visited Sunay Karamık, KAGİDER founding member and current MP (Adana, AK Party), who also serves as Chair of the Petitions Committee in the Grand National Assembly.

In the 4 Questions 4 Answers Tablet Talks series, Begüm Atılgan was hosted in a live broadcast on “Managing Digital Transformation.” She discussed the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in business and its impact on entrepreneurship.

Also on October 24, Board Member Neşecan Çekici represented KAGİDER as a speaker at the “Strong Women in All Fields in the 100th Year of the Republic” Workshop held at Gedik University.
