We celebrated KAGİDER’s 22nd anniversary with great excitement and pride together with KAGİDER Founding Members and Former Presidents.

KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu participated as a speaker at the “5th International Bazaar” event held in Kocaeli, bringing together Turkish and European businesswomen. Bezircioğlu emphasized that the greatest obstacle women face in exports is the difficulty of accessing international markets.

The guest of this month’s KAGİDER Traditional Breakfast Meeting was Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Mr. İmamoğlu came together with women entrepreneurs, answered their questions, and listened to their requests. As part of the regional “Women Leaders in the Circular Economy” project supported by the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and implemented in Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, KAGİDER Board Member Beyza Berkol, Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ, and Deputy Secretary General Esra İdris participated in the working visit to Croatia.

KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu and the Board of the Federation of Sectoral Associations, of which KAGİDER is a member, visited Anıtkabir to pay tribute to Atatürk. A wreath was laid at the mausoleum, followed by a moment of silence in honor of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Within the scope of the “Sana Inspiration Academy” Project carried out in cooperation between KAGİDER and SANA, trainings on ‘Communication’, ‘Digital Literacy’ and ‘Create Your Own Brand’ were given by MÜSEM trainers in Gaziantep. Additionally, a training on ‘E-commerce’ was provided by a representative from Trendyol.

This month’s topic was Neuromarketing, and the event was moderated by KAGİDER Board Member Beyza Berkol. KAGİDER Sustainability Report was published! Reaching more than 170,000 women through 80 projects over 22 years, KAGİDER shared its first Sustainability Report with the public. Since 2002, KAGİDER has continued its efforts to empower women in economic, social, and political fields, and this report once again highlights the “KAGİDER Impact”.

Within the scope of the “Orange Support for Women Entrepreneurs” project initiated in cooperation with ING Turkey to support women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, KAGİDER Member Bahar Şen provided training on “Basic Administrative Competencies in Business Management” to project participants.

Dimes became eligible to receive the “Equal Opportunity Model (FEM)” certificate, developed by KAGİDER with the technical support of the World Bank to promote gender equality in the workplace and increase women's productivity.

The 3rd phase of the Power Talks – Mentoring Program, organized in cooperation between Kérastase and KAGİDER, was held as an online meeting.

Within the scope of the “Orange Support for Women Entrepreneurs” project initiated in cooperation with ING Turkey to support women entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, KAGİDER Member Burcu Atılgan provided trainings on “Basic Financial Statements and Digital Financial Literacy” to project participants.

KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu served as a jury member in the 8th edition of EY (Ernst & Young) Turkey’s Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Program for Women Entrepreneur Leaders.
