One of Turkey’s leading hotel groups, Akra Hotels, was awarded KAGİDER’s “Equal Opportunity Model” (FEM) certificate in recognition of its human resources practices that support women’s employment and promote equal opportunities for women across all areas of business life.

Our press conference held on September 12 attracted a large audience and considerable media attention. With 68 news articles published afterward, our message reached approximately 2.5 million people. This event served as an important platform to communicate KAGİDER’s pioneering and innovative initiatives and future goals to the public.

On the same day, we gathered with our High Advisory Board members to celebrate KAGİDER’s anniversary. During the meeting, we reaffirmed our commitment to advancing gender equality and ensuring women's greater participation in all areas of life.

Galatasaray Sports Club became the first sports club in Turkey to receive the Equal Opportunity Model (FEM) Certificate. The award ceremony was held at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park with the participation of Galatasaray Vice President Metin Öztürk, Board Member Lara Yılmaz, KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu, Vice Presidents Şila Gök and Güzin İlker, and other KAGİDER Board Members.

UN Women Turkey Country Director Asya Varbanova visited KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu at the KAGİDER office. Current and potential new collaborations were discussed.

As part of the “Shining Through Mentorship” session held in partnership with Lancôme and KAGİDER during the Işıldayanlar Conference, KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu participated as a speaker. She emphasized that institutions—and, more broadly, countries—that recognize and support women’s potential are those that truly “shine.”

The program launched in 2010 to empower young women in society and business, expand their professional networks, facilitate their job search, and contribute to female employment, grew even stronger in its 13th year.

Organized in collaboration with Sanofi Turkey, the new graduates of the program began with an opening event at the Bilgiyi Ticarileştirme Merkezi in Fulya and successfully completed a 3-day digital training. A total of 250 young women, selected from many applicants, graduated in the Republic’s centennial year. The number of “young women leaders” who have graduated from the program since 2010 has now reached 1,750.

The "4 Questions 4 Answers Tablet Meetings" continued with the event titled “SMEs: Connecting to E-Commerce through Financial E-Transformation.” Başak Kural, General Manager of eLogo, gave an insightful presentation on the digital transformation of finance departments and the potential of e-commerce.

The first breakfast meeting of the new term was held. The opening featured a motivational video dedicated to our National Women’s Volleyball Team's recent success. KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu gave the opening speech.

Board members for the 2023–2025 term shared updates on KAGİDER’s working committees. The event also provided an opportunity to meet new members and learn about their professional backgrounds.
