KAGİDER Artificial Intelligence Workshops concluded with the module “Managing My Business with Data” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Yaşar. In this 3-hour session, participants explored how to leverage the power of data to grow their ventures in the age of artificial intelligence.

KAGİDER EU Representative Ayşe Yürekli spoke at the European Movement International event titled “Aiming Higher: Overcoming Challenges on the Path to EU Enlargement” held at the European Parliament, drawing attention to Turkey’s key role in the EU enlargement process.

The consultation meeting on women’s entrepreneurship organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services took place with the participation of Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş. KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu also attended the meeting and exchanged views.

As part of the 18th “Turkey’s Woman Entrepreneur” Competition organized in cooperation with Garanti BBVA, KAGİDER and Ekonomist Magazine, women entrepreneurs nominated in five categories shared their inspiring success stories with the jury. KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu and Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ were members of the jury.

In the 8th week of the Good Jobs Program, organized in cooperation with KAGİDER and Boyner, participants completed trainings on Foreign Trade with KAGİDER member Zuhal Oba, on E-Commerce with Neslihan Uğur from Boyner Group, and on Shipping and Packaging with Emre Korkmaz from UPS.

At the “KAGİDER Writers’ Workshop,” we came together for the second time with a passion for literature and writing and witnessed the inspiring stories of our writer members. At the event moderated by KAGİDER Honorary Board Member Sanem Oktar, we had the opportunity to hear the valuable contributions of KAGİDER Members and writers Gamze Cizreli, Dr. Zehra Güngör, Müge Çevik, and Selcen Gür. We thank all our participating members and esteemed writers.

Participants of the Good Jobs Program, launched in cooperation with KAGİDER and Boyner, completed the trainings on Digitalization with KAGİDER member Nilüfer Durukal and on Canva with KAGİDER Digital Media Manager Meltem Karaarslan Özperçel. As the entrepreneurs reached the end of the 9-module training, the Good Jobs Program marked its 10th anniversary.

A KAGİDER delegation consisting of President Esra Bezircioğlu, Vice Presidents Şila Gök and Güzin İlker, Board Members Beyza Beyzade Berkol and Beylem Leblebici Birsen, and Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ visited one of KAGİDER’s founding members, TOGEMDER President Belma Sekmen.

An online meeting titled “The Role of Women Entrepreneurs in Procurement” was held in cooperation with KAGİDER and TÜSAYDER. KAGİDER Board Member Özlem Demirci Duyarlar participated as a speaker.

At the “Turkey’s Leading Women” panel and award ceremony organized by Ekonomi Newspaper in cooperation with Koç University (Koç-Kam) and Arya Women Investment Platform, KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu participated as a speaker and presented an award.

The second session of KAGİDER’s Transformation-Oriented Leadership Training Program was completed. Dr. Zerrin Başer shared valuable insights on Holistic Leadership.

KAGİDER EU Representative Ayşe Yürekli spoke at the High-Level Women’s Rights Forum organized by the European Economic and Social Committee and the European Commission. She shared insights on the barriers to women’s entrepreneurship, proposed solutions, and expectations from the United Nations #CSW69.

The guest of KAGİDER’s February Breakfast Meeting was EDAM Director Sinan Ülgen. In the meeting, Ülgen evaluated global developments following the U.S. elections. In the opening speech, KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu shared the association’s international focus and work related to KAGİDER Global. At the end of the meeting, KAGİDER Economic Advisor Prof. Dr. Arif Yavuz shared his economic assessments with the participants. The meeting offered attendees valuable insights into international trade, economic strategies, and country positions.

In the 18th edition of the “Turkey’s Woman Entrepreneur” Competition, organized in cooperation with KAGİDER, Garanti BBVA, and Ekonomist Magazine, the winners were announced. Özlem Kahramaner, founder of Arksigner, was named “Turkey’s Woman Entrepreneur.” Tuba Toprakçı Yılmaz, with her Gaia Oliva initiative, won “Turkey's Regionally Sustainable Impact-Making Woman Entrepreneur.” Ayşe Aslı Başak, with Shipsider Denizcilik, received the award for “Turkey's Promising Woman Entrepreneur in Technology.” Alev Ertem and Cansu Ertem Paoletti, with Studio Potato, were named “Turkey’s Woman Social Impact Entrepreneurs,” and the “Turkey’s Woman Cooperative” award went to Aynur Çeşmeliler on behalf of Trakyam Üreten Kadın Kooperatifi. We congratulate all participating women entrepreneurs for their courage and are proud to have shared this excitement.

The recent disasters such as earthquakes and fires deeply saddened us all. In response, KAGİDER organized a Disaster Awareness Training with the support of AKOM. Both KAGİDER Board Members and the KAGİDER team participated in the training.
