As KAGİDER, we held a press conference where the evaluation of the year 2024 and the forecasts for 2025 were shared with members of the press. 13 journalists attended the meeting, and the news published afterward reached 4,542,000 people.

KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu participated as a speaker in the "Conference on Cooperation of Local Governments, Business World and Civil Society for the Development of Democracy," organized by the Şişli Municipality and SES Equality and Solidarity Association. Bezircioğlu emphasized the importance of cooperation between local governments, the business world, and civil society with a gender-equality-centered approach for the development of democracy.

The third week of the Good Jobs Program, organized in cooperation with KAGİDER and Boyner, was completed with online trainings. Program participants received training from Banu İlter on “Financial Resources – KOSGEB Supports”, from İbrahim Mumoğulları on “Incentives”, from Av. Deniz Dinar Uğur on “Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights”, and from Av. Elif Görgülü on “E-Commerce Law”.

KAGİDER EU Representative and Senior Advisor for European Policies Ayşe Yürekli paid a courtesy visit to Turkey’s Permanent Representative to NATO, Levent Gümrükçü.

In cooperation with KAGİDER and Garanti BBVA and hosted by the Adana Chamber of Commerce, the Women in Trade Meeting was held. As part of the program, the Capital Markets Board gave financial literacy training. Afterwards, experts from the State Supply Office and Adana Metropolitan Municipality provided information on the tender participation processes for women entrepreneurs. Following the program, KAGİDER member Kamer Kıraç hosted the KAGİDER delegation at “House of Kamer”.

The KAGİDER delegation led by President Esra Bezircioğlu paid a visit to Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Öntürk. Current developments on supporting women's entrepreneurship and cooperation with local governments were shared. Mr. Öntürk presented a plaque to KAGİDER for its support to Hatay.

A Women Entrepreneurs Meeting was held at İstasyon Hatay. Within the scope of the event, financial literacy training was provided by the Capital Markets Board, and a networking circle was formed between KAGİDER members and women entrepreneurs from Hatay. After the program, the KAGİDER delegation visited “HASAT by TEO FARM”.

KAGİDER EU Representative Ayşe Yürekli paid a courtesy visit to Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the EU, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, and presented him with the KAGİDER Forest certificate.

In January, KAGİDER's Artificial Intelligence Workshops for All continued. Participants explored the power of artificial intelligence in business through the training titled “AI Time in Marketing” delivered by instructor Neslihan Olcay.

January 27–31, 2025

As part of the G-FEB – Green Transition of Women Entrepreneurs in the Balkan Region project, a "Training of Trainers" program was held in Vienna for partners and trainers. KAGİDER Board Member Beyza Beyzade Berkol, Secretary General Yeşim Seviğ, Deputy Secretary General Esra İdris, and Projects Manager Özge Yurttaş participated in the program.

The guest of KAGİDER’s Traditional Breakfast Meeting for January was Sabancı Holding CEO Cenk Alper. In her opening speech, KAGİDER President Esra Bezircioğlu emphasized the role of women entrepreneurs in both economic and social development, and shared KAGİDER’s 2024 activities and 2025 goals. Afterwards, Alper gave a speech titled “The Role of Entrepreneurship in Social Development and the Teaching of the Private Sector”.
