    Yeşim Müftüler Seviğ

    Ms.Seviğ received her bachelors degree from the department of Business Administration at Istanbul University in 1989 after graduating from American Robert College in Istanbul. After university graduation she went to France for Alliance Francaise language school. After 4 years in corporate life at Turkish Airlines and Tekfen Holding she established her own company on marketing materials. 14 years of entrepreneurship led her to the instinct of delivering her know-how to new woman entrepreneurs; thus letting her to work at the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER) in 2009. Since 2009, she is working as the Secretary General of KAGIDER. She actively works in the Entrepreneurship and Leadership Committee, Communication Committee and other projects of KAGIDER, as well as specializing on the general secretarial works of the association.

  • Aylin Dinler

    Member Relations and Event Manager
    Dinler is graduated from Fatih Vatan High School, Istanbul in 1996. She attended Sampiyon Typing, Computer and Secretary Training Programme for a year. Then she started working at Bil Educational Institution,  responsible of composing books and test books. From 2000 till 2012 she worked as the executive assistant at Topcuoglu Customs Consultancy & Puma Shipping Inc. In 2012 Dinler was the Executive Assistant & Event Coordinator at b-fit Sports and Healthy Living Centers for Women. Since August 2016, she works at KAGIDER as the Administrative Assistant. She is still attending Italian language courses at the Italian Cultural Institute-Istanbul.
  • Begüm Balaban Bayrak

    Project and International Relations Manager

    Begüm Balaban Bayrak has graduated from “International Relations” (Bachelors, 2007) and “Management Organisation” (Masters, 2013). From 2007 to 2008, she has completed the programmes “International Trade” and “The Politics of Energy Security” at University of London and Birkbeck College in London. Between the years 2006-2011 she has undertaken academic work voluntarily at Beykent University Centre for Strategic Research in the “Middle East Department” She began her career in 2008 as a Coordinator Assistant to the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK), which operates as a special purpose business council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). In 2010, she continued working in DTİK as a co-ordinator responsible for the regions Eurasia, Asia Pacific, Europe, Balkans, America, Middle East-Gulf-Africa. She organised the “World Turkish Entrepreneur Congress” with honor of the Presidency and Prime Ministry in the years 2009 and 2011, in which the DTIK General Assemblies took place, during her 5 years in DEIK. She has actively participated in international official organizations and projects in more than 25 countries in management processes and projects of the Regional Committees by being in touch diplomatically. In September 2013, she has transferred to a company that is in partnership with Sudan and Qatar set up a Turkey Liason Office, and functioned as Country Manager and Corporate Communication Director. Upon leaving her position in May 2015, she has worked as advisor across a number of different projects. Begum Balaban Bayrak is an ACEV volunteer, she is also voluntarily editor and presenter. Since June 2018, she has been working as “Project and International Relations Manager” at KAGİDER and simultaneously from June 2019 as a “Project Coordinator of “Women in Business Network W-BUN” project financed by the European Union.

    Meltem Dere, who completed her university education in the International Relations Department of Gazi University (2014),  she was selected eligible for the project entitled “Women Leaders of the Future “ , supported by The World Bank in 2014  .With the support given by KAGIDER regarding the career planning from the mentor provided to her within the scope of Okyanus Yolculari Project, she started her professional career at Migros A.S. as a Management Trainee .  Then she decided to continue her career in the sector of Human Resources and developed on to the HR Specialist - Recruitment and Organizational Development in İNKA Human Resources Company. As of May 2018 Mrs.Dere continues to work as Project Responsible at KAGIDER. Meltem Dere who voluntarily took part in the projects of NGO’s such as LÖSEV and TEMA is also actively involved in the project of "Educating the Visually Impaired, Sister School" social responsibility projects in Gazi University Since 2009

    She started her university education at Çanakkale 18 Mart University Faculty of Finance (2014) and then completed in 2017 by transferring to Trakya University Finance Department. She did her internship at Alesta Financial Consultancy Office. She was accepted to the "2018 First Opportunity" project that Esas Holding supported and joined the KAGİDER team with the "First Opportunity" Project. She is living his first work experience with 21st century skills training and mentoring support. She has been working at KAGİDER since January 2018.


    Meltem Karaarslan Özperçel

    Meltem Karaarslan Özperçel

    Meltem Karaarslan Özperçel studied Entrepreneurship and Project Management  at İstanbul Aydın University. In the meantime she was selected student council member of İstanbul Aydın University in 2007 and she worked voluntarily in the European Union Projects. She went to Lithuania, Vilnius to study Business Management with Erasmus scholarship at College of Social Sciences. Now, she is studying Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty. In 2010 Özperçel participated in KAGİDER’s certificate program entitled “Women Leaders of the Future”. In January 2011, she worked as an Education Coordinator in the “Girls in Kars Move Ahead” Project. In the following years, she worked as an Projects Manager at KAGIDER and she was responsible KAGIDER’s Social Media Management - Analytics & Reporting. She designed a foldable shoe and obtained 3 different patents. The product was launched in January 2014 under the Pisi Shoe brand. Meltem Karaarslan Özperçel is continue her adventure of entrepreneurship and currently, she is a Digital Channels Manager at KAGİDER.

    Aslıhan Tekin

    EU Representative of KAGIDER

    Aslıhan Tekin

    Ms. Tekin, WEP’s (Women Entrepreneurship Platform) Board Member and treasurer, is the EU Representative of KAGIDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey). Aslıhan Tekin is legal and policy adviser on EU law and affairs in different capacities including gender equality, social policies and rights since 2006. She is the EU Representative of EWL Coordination for Turkey and alternate board member at EWL (European Women’s Lobby). She is a lawyer and working with different civil society organisations, associations and international organisations. As one of the EWL’s digital experts and #HerNetHerRights (training on combatting online violence against women and girls) trainers, she has been working on cyber violence together with grassroots organisations and women networks. She has also been one of the coordinators of Freja Forum (Forum for Regional and European Joint Activities) on Western Balkans and Turkey and co-founder of Freja Academy and Foundation. She is also member of Environmental Law Network International (ELNI), Social Rights Association of Turkey (SHD) and European Social Action Network (ESAN), Istanbul Bar Association and Turkish Bar Association, and Constitutional Law Research Association (ANAYASA-DER).

    Ceren Deniz Türkmen

    Foreign Trade Assistant Specialist

    Ceren Deniz Turkmen graduated from Hacettepe University, ‘English Translation and Interpreting Studies Department’ in 2017 and proceeded with her studies on full scholarship at Saint Petersburg State University, Russia. While studying at the ‘Political Governance and Public Policy Master of Arts Program’, she wrote her thesis on women’s political leadership and obtained her MA degree in 2019. She had taken office at the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Directorate of Communications as a communications intern (2016), at ARKAS Holding as a foreign relations intern (2016) and at LaBiance International Tourism and Event Agency as a policy intern (2019). Her work experience involves working as an editor, content creator and blog/SEO translator within different periods of time and taking part in various projects, seminars and volunteer activities. She also has experience involving in several certificate courses regarding foreign trade and Russian language. Ceren Turkmen joined KAGIDER as a Foreign Trade Assistant Specialist in January, 2020. She is still registered to the Open University Faculty of Istanbul University, International Relations and Political Science Department.
